OASIS — Forty-nine organizations and individuals sent a letter to the California Senate and Assembly Budget Committees to ask for funding to relocate residents of Oasis Mobile Home Park in the Eastern Coachella Valley to new quality affordable housing in a safe community.

The residents of the Oasis Mobile Home Park filed a complaint in January seeking to hold the ownership of the mobile home park accountable for failure to correct water, housing and contract violations.

As part of their efforts, residents are requesting a state budget allocation of $30 million to relocate the families to safer housing. A petition also seeks to garner support for the families. You can sign your name and support here.
