Truly Clean and Affordable Energy
Access to clean and affordable energy resources is an increasingly critical component of climate resilience, public health, and environmental justice. Our work in partnership with community leaders focuses on two primary goals: 1) increasing access to clean energy resources for lower income households through policy change and investments, and 2) challenging policies and investments that promote energy generation that pollutes or poses risks to nearby communities. We have been especially critical of energy resources held up as clean and climate-friendly that actually and potentially threaten the health and well-being of communities of color.
